For some reason we were talking about the poem Desiderata in the office recently. If you're not familiar with it then look it up - it's a great basis for living your life to the full. Some of the other versions for example by Baz Luhrmann (irrelevant mention if you're under 30...) that was a hit in the 80's (Wear Sunscreen) approach the same subject in a more current way. http://youtu.be/sTJ7AzBIJoI It got me thinking about a Desiderata for me or for business and we came up with this little list of rules to live by... Always walk on the sunny side of the street Respect older people, they have more experience than you Appreciate that everyone has strengths Give without expecting to receive Don't hold grudges, they'll eat away at you Treat others as you'd want to be treated Live for today but remember your responsibilities for tomorrow Pay cheap, pay twice Don't let others negativity drain your energy Put yourself out of your comfort zone regularly, it'll start to feel like normal What tips for life do you have to add?
