Last night we attended the CIPR Pride awards at the Queens Hotel. We were the regional sponsors of the event along with The Business Desk and Leeds Business School who we had the chance to catch up with over a bottle of prosecco.
Our very own Gen Larkin presented the Integrated Campaign award and the winner was Umpf for their ‘up yours I quit’ campaign. Our Leeds Manager, Becki Burton and I were showing our support by supplying the fizz as soon as she stepped off the stage!
Umpf had a great night taking home 7 gold awards – a massive well-done! Another well done to Social Communications who bagged the Gold award for their ‘Next Stop, Bradford’ campaign with Bradford Council. A huge congratulations to iseepr for a very well deserved win of the Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy category! It's always great to see the Outstanding Young Communicator award which was won by Rebecca Jackson from Acceleris.
A big thank you to the lovely Amy Airey and the rest of the CIPR committee who put so much work into last night and made sure everyone had good food and lots of fun (the band even did a Queen medley!).
It was great to catch up with everyone at the event, both clients and candidates and a huge congratulations to all the winners and nominees from last night – we’re already looking forward to next year!
