Here at Network Marketing Towers we have long been supporters of Simon On The Streets and the amazing, gritty work they do for homeless and rootless people in the Yorkshire region. It's often difficult, however, to explain to people in simple terms what is is they do and explaining in tangible ways, what they actually achieve. Because sometimes, to be frank, it doesn't always work out. By the very nature of people they are working with, the outcomes can be unpredictable. Indeed, the job can be unpredictable. Which is why this article by Helen Beachell really struck a chord - crying at your desk half way through the day really isn't the done thing is it? If you still don't get what SOTS do then take a look at this video - then sign up to their sponsored sleep out in September - I have done it for the past 2 years and it's really enlightening. (PS - don't be put off by Clive's rather intense stare - he's really quite a nice guy when you get to know him!) http://youtu.be/zqZN9SGq1eg Or, for a bit more of a gritty approach - watch this one - thanks to MRL Agency for their support. http://vimeo.com/37301834
