There is no doubt that successful recruiting is heading rapidly to inch wide and mile deep specialisms. The most successful recruitment businesses know their markets inside out and their markets know them. However, unfortunately claiming this can be a real cliché as you’ll see it all over most recruiters’ websites. But, understanding your market is absolutely critical. Some of this knowledge will come from the experienced people in the business having been recruiting in the sector for a long period of time, however bringing in people from ‘industry’ to work in a recruitment business can be invaluable.
I returned to recruitment having had nearly 10 years out leaving originally to move agency side. I loved my time working in marketing agencies and got involved in everything from print to digital and outdoor to social. I had always been passionate about helping young people to progress so took on a teaching role. It was immensely rewarding (the teaching bit) yet frustrating (the Ofsted bit…) and so I looked back on the variety of experiences I had and which ones really inspired me, and returned to Network Marketing. I really feel I have made the right decision and just received this lovely note which I thought I’d share to demonstrate how our real understanding of marketing helps us help our candidates and clients.
“After relocating to Yorkshire I was worried about how I would quickly find a new role as a CRM Manager. Luckily I found Nadia and within 2 weeks I'd found the perfect role in Financial Services. As a candidate, Nadia made me feel incredibly valued and offered a level of support I have not had from a recruitment consultant before, offering personal and professional advice before and after my interviews. Nadia took the time to get to know me which made it so much easier in finding a role that was the right fit. I would highly recommend Network Marketing and Nadia in particular for anyone looking for their next role, she will certainly be my first port of call should I look to move in the future.”
